Artisan Fine Rug Care is a family business exclusively dedicated to hand washing and repair of handcrafted and fine area rugs. We take great pride in the individual attention given to each piece by our lead rug technician, Aaron, and the superior results that follow.
Before the formation of Artisan, Aaron received his training and worked for many years for one of the world’s preeminent textile conservators. He has cared for rugs from museums, important rug collections, celebrities, world-renowned designers and many prominent rug dealers. Aaron has cleaned thousands of rugs, primarily oriental and other collectible rugs.
Our Philosophy
Artisan’s philosophy is to take no risks with our clients’ valued rugs. We do not subject them to harsh methods, heat, nor machines and wringers – all of the work is done by hand. As such, we are able to specialize in antique, silk and other challenging carpets. We also offer professional repair.
